After Microblading/Powder Brows
Day 1 :
● You just got done with your appointment and you are loving your new brows! You are adjusting to the shape, and they look a little dark.
● All you must do today is blot your new brows with dry tissues every 2 hours. This is to soak up all of that lymph fluid, so it doesn’t push the ink out or make your brows crusty.
● When we don’t blot the lymph away our brows can suffocate, and your ink will peel away.
Day 2-4:
● You may be a little scared. Brows may look a little too dark or thick.
● This is your brows starting the scabbing/flaking process
● Starting Day 2 you will wash your brows once in the morning and once at night using clean fingertips.
● Use a very gentle soap with no fragrance.
● DO NOT SCRUB! Wash the brows going in one direction only.
● Repeat every day till you see scabs starting to form.
Day 5-7:
● Your brows are scabbing or flaking off and you may be worried that they are falling off.
● Once you have scabs, wash them once in the morning and apply a rice size amount of your aftercare cream right after.
● Wash your aftercare cream off at night before you go to bed and let your brows breathe while you are sleeping.
● Repeat everyday till scabs fall off.
● It is VERY important that we only put a tiny amount of cream on the brows. Too much can suffocate and lift that ink from your skin.
Day 8-10:
● Your scabs should be off by now. Are they still flaking? Your brows have faded a bit and may look like your starting point. Your pigment will come back, no worries.
● Once your scabs are off, take a look at them, and if they are still flaking, stop using the cream and return to washing them gently, morning and night, till the flakes fall off.
● Once the scabbing/flaking are finished you can return to your skin care routine! Brows may still fade a little bit and feel dry
After 6-8 Weeks:
● Time for a touch-up!
● Did we schedule it?
● You will get a text on your phone or a call the day before your touch up appointment.
● At your touch-up we will fill in and take care of whatever needs to be done.
● If you have any questions or concerns, please call me on my cell: 818-621-5125
● It was an honor and a pleasure serving you.
● See you in a year!
